How the Open Championship Rota Works
The Open moves among a small pool of coastal links, the rota. St Andrews, Muirfield, Royal Birkdale, Royal St Georges, Royal Lytham, Royal Liverpool, Royal Troon, Carnoustie, Turnberry and Royal Portrush make up the modern core.
