Overview
Kasumigaseki Country Club opened in 1929 near Tokyo, and its East Course hosted the 1957 Canada Cup, where victory for Japan sparked a national golf boom. Redesigned by Tom Fazio ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, held in 2021, it saw Xander Schauffele and Nelly Korda win gold. The club changed its rules to admit women as full members before the Games.
