Overview
Valderrama is the Augusta of Europe, cork oaks framing exacting holes near Sotogrande. It staged the 1997 Ryder Cup, the first in continental Europe, won by the side led by Severiano Ballesteros. It later hosted the WGC American Express Championship at the turn of the century.
