Los Angeles Country Club North
George Thomas design that hosted the 2023 US Open
Overview
The North Course of the Los Angeles Country Club was designed by George C Thomas in the 1920s and restored by Gil Hanse around 2010, reviving its barrancas and wide fairways. The famously private club opened its gates for the 2023 US Open, the first held in Los Angeles in decades, won by Wyndham Clark. Its setting near Beverly Hills is unique among major venues.
