Jack Nicklaus course in Ohio, home of the Memorial Tournament
Overview
Jack Nicklaus built Muirfield Village near his hometown of Columbus, naming it after the Scottish course where he won his first Open. It opened in 1974 and has hosted his Memorial Tournament since 1976. In 1987 Europe won the Ryder Cup there, their first victory on American soil, and the course hosted the Presidents Cup in 2013.
