Olympic Club Lake
San Francisco course where favorites have repeatedly been upset
Overview
The Lake Course of the Olympic Club winds through cypress and pine on hilly ground near the Pacific. It has hosted the US Open five times, often with surprising results, including Jack Fleck beating Ben Hogan in a 1955 playoff and Billy Casper catching Arnold Palmer in 1966. Webb Simpson won the most recent of those championships in 2012.
