Royal West Norfolk
Brancaster links of 1892 cut off by the tide
Overview
Royal West Norfolk at Brancaster opened in 1892 on a strip of dunes between salt marsh and the North Sea. At high tide the access road floods, cutting the clubhouse off from the village. Sleepered bunkers and old fashioned blind shots give it an untouched Victorian character prized by traditionalists.
