Swinley Forest
Harry Colt pine and heather course near Ascot
Overview
Swinley Forest opened around 1910 and is one of the most admired designs of Harry Colt, who called it his least bad course. Its fairways run through pine, birch and heather on sandy Berkshire soil. The club has long avoided championship golf, preserving a quiet and exclusive character.
