Woodhall Spa Hotchkin
Hotchkin family design from 1905 with cavernous bunkers
Overview
The Hotchkin Course is the spiritual home of English heathland golf, its ragged bunkers cut ten feet deep into sand. It served as RAF wartime base and reopened to grow its reputation. It hosts the English Golf Union headquarters beside the Bracken Course.
