Royal Portrush
1888 links on the Antrim coast, Open host in 1951, 2019 and 2025
Overview
Portrush staged the 1951 Open, the only one in Ireland until Shane Lowry won the 2019 return in front of record crowds. The Dunluce Links closes along the Atlantic with the fifth green perched above White Rocks. The Open returned again in 2025.
