Royal Troon
Founded 1878, home of the Postage Stamp eighth
Overview
Troon owns the shortest hole in championship golf, the 123 yard Postage Stamp, which wrecked card after card in the 2016 Open won by Henrik Stenson in a record duel with Phil Mickelson. Arnold Palmer took the 1962 Open here. Deep rough and a long walk home define it.
